In 1744, "being bound on an Expedition to Cape Breton, and not knowing whether I shall return again alive," Josiah George ("Iosiah George Indian of Wells)," completed a "last Will and Testament" and left his "Estate Real and Personal to Bathsheba Emery, wife of Mr Samuel Emery of Wells."

Josiah George is listed in Nathaniel Donnell's Company in Burrage's Maine at Louisburg in 1745 (on p. 61)
